Alicante HBC's sire Casall is a grand prix jumper under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.
The Casall daughter Vontessa VA (ds.Carolus I) was the 2008 champion
three-year-old mare in Holstein. Alicante HBC's dam Texas M is by the preferent stallion
Indoctro. Alicante HBC's great-granddam Monoline (s.Roman) is also the dam of
the approved stallions Calvin (s.Caletto II), Cantus (s.Caletto I), and Lansing
(s.Landgraf I).
