The KWPN Stallion Show is the leading event where sport, breeding, and selection come together. During this international event, the evaluation and presentation of high-quality stallions take center stage, with the aim of shaping the future of KWPN breeding.

The KWPN Stallion Show is a crucial stage in the stallion selection process. During the event, stallions undergo their second inspection, the most complete stallions are awarded premiums, and a selection may be designated for the performance test—the final step toward potential approval. In addition, the Stallion Show provides a platform for presenting the youngest generation of approved stallions, while various stallion competitions are held to showcase talent, rideability, and athletic qualities.

The Brabanthallen in Den Bosch will be transformed into the absolute highlight of Dutch sport and breeding during the KWPN Stallion Show. In addition to the stallion selection, we present a fantastic program featuring exciting sport and show classes, showcasing the very best of the world of the Dutch sport horse. The catalogue can be ordered via the KWPN Ticketshop for €17.50 (excluding service fees) and can be collected at the KWPN stand during the KWPN Stallion Show.
If you have already purchased a ticket, the catalogue will be available at the KWPN stand during the KWPN Stallion Show.

Parking tickets for the KWPN Stallion Show 2026 are not available via KWPN this year, but exclusively directly through the Brabanthallen. To ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent waiting times when exiting, we advise visitors to purchase their parking ticket online in advance.

The sale of booth space, advertising, advertisements, and VIP tables is handled through V2 Facility.

The KWPN Select Sale offers you the opportunity to purchase a talented stallion that meets the standards for conformation, movement, athletic ability, and health. All horses offered have undergone various veterinary examinations. They have been fully radiographically examined and clinically inspected prior to the KWPN Stallion Show and again on the day of the auction.

The Paardenkliniek Wolvega Stallion Competition Jumping, the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage, and the KWPN Gelder Stallion Competition offer breeders and enthusiasts the opportunity to see young, approved KWPN stallions in action. These competitions are designed to provide insight into the stallions’ athletic potential, rideability, and development during the first years following their approval.

The competition season for Gelder, dressage, and jumping stallions consists of three qualifying events, culminating in the final held during the KWPN Stallion Show. As such, the stallion competitions serve as an important tool in the evaluation of young stallions and provide valuable information for breeders.

Breeding a KWPN-approved stallion is a dream for many breeders. Before a stallion is admitted to the breeding program, he must undergo a thorough and rigorous selection process. The registered owner decides whether a stallion will be presented for the stallion inspection. Careful preparation is essential to maximize the stallion’s chances of success.

Press accreditations for the 2026 KWPN Stallion Selection, if granted, are assigned to a maximum of 2 persons per medium per day (excluding television). After filling out the form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail (note: this is not an accreditation yet).
