Arlando is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation
and a slightly downhill body direction. The head is attractive. The neck has
more than sufficient length. The wither is well developed. The shoulder is long
and straight. The back has good length but is dropped. The loins are well
connected. The croup is sloped, with good length and muscling. The front leg
has sufficient length and is correct. The hind leg is long and correct. The
legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well shaped.
Lineage
Arlando's sire is the Ferro son Paddox, who excelled in the show ring under
Diederik van Silfhout. The duo's wins include the 2006 European Championships
for Juniors, and they subsequently competed in the small tour. Arlando's
dam is the sterpreferent Thoroughbred-cross mare
Herlanda. Her other offspring include Orlanda (s.Ferro), who is classified at
the ZZ-advanced level with Marijke Folmer; and the selected stallion Valencio,
another Paddox son. Zolanda (keur preferent by
Nurprimus) is Arlando's granddam. She is the dam of the international jumper
Anadolu Ermis (s.Formateur).

scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope and carriage. The canter has
good scope and power, with abundant push. Arlando moves with sufficient body
position, good balance, and abundant elasticity. He has abundant talent for
dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling.
