Offspring 2003 (foals)
Radar showed sufficient riding type foals that are more than sufficiently to royally developed and that stand in more than sufficient to good rectangular model, but that lack in refinement and charisma.
The head is long and lacks expression. The poll has sufficient length and is sufficiently shaped. The neck has more than sufficient length, is sufficiently shaped and muscled. The wither has sufficient length and development. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and is straight. The shape of the back is good. The loins are sufficiently connected. The croup should be longer. The hamstring has more than sufficient length. Sometimes the foreleg is tied in below the knee. The hindleg is long and sickle hocked with a moderately shaped hock. The base is sufficiently developed but should have more quality.
The walk is pure, more than sufficient in scope and suppleness. The trot is big, has more than sufficient self carriage and sufficient suppleness but the foals should carry more and should come underneath more behind. The canter lacks impulsion, scope and suppleness. The foals are uniform in their movement.
There were 10 picked foals and 4 that were selected by the owner. One sick foal that was evaluated in-hand fit in with the above picture in regards to type. One foal"s movement differed from the above because of an injury. The foals that were selected by the owner matched the above picture.
The quality of the mares was moderate.

Radar is a sufficiently developed, sufficient riding type stallion that stands in sufficient rectangular model. The neck has good shape but is a little deep from the chest. The hindleg is sickle-hocked and the transition to the cannon should be smoother. The legs show quality. The feet are narrow.

The former Kür ace Cocktail presents a son from one of his last foal crops that has appealing movement and is out of a predicate rich line that has produced many dressage horses
Dam Butopia produced 12 foals, 7 colts and 5 fillies of which 2 are ster; Z1-dressage horse Itopia (s Dublin), ZZL-dressage horse Kutopia (s Casanova). Grandmother Parel Utopia produced Z1-dressage horse Dartagnan (s Nurzeus) and Z-jumper Fion (s Pion). Great grandmother Carla-Utopia produced the approved stallion Overste (s Duc de Normandie). Carla-Utopia is the grandmother of Z2-dressage horses Eugene (s Man in the Moon xx), Maistro (s Havel) and Z1-dressage horse Lars Utopia (s Falco).
Radar carries the blood of full brothers Mexico and Furioso II through his sire Cocktail and the dam"s sire Le Mexico. Both were above average and versatile sires. Even after his death Cocktail himself is still found in the top of the dressage index. Le Mexico produced the Grand Prix horses Zindar and Bijoux.
Performance
Radar is an honest reliable stallion. He has much willingness to work and he works well. The walk is big, active and pure. The light-footed trot has sufficient scope. Radar has more than sufficient suppleness in the trot, more than sufficient self carriage and more than sufficient impulsion. He closes well. Radar has more than sufficient scope in the canter and more than sufficient impulsion. He canters with good balance and good changes. Radar has much talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Radar has a sufficient to more than sufficient take-off in jumping. He has moderate to sufficient leg- and body technique. He seems careful and shows sufficient scope. Radar has sufficient talent for jumping and gives his rider a sufficient feeling.
