Ramon is a strongly developed, sufficient riding type stallion that stands in more than sufficient rectangular model. The neck is well muscled but comes a little deep from the chest. The wither and shoulder are sufficiently developed. The croup should be even longer. The base is strongly developed and has sufficient quality.

Ramon is out of the strong moving Irodi, a daughter of the Landgraf I son, Landino. Ramon has much quality. He has good jumping manners and a surplus of scope.
Out of the prestatie line of the mare Karta (s Millerole xx) and G Ramiro-Z comes the Nurzeus son Marlon who had a positive debut in the breeding program this year with two sons that were selected for the performance test. On the dam"s side Ramon is supported by the Ladykiller xx bred Landgraf I son Landino, who made a good name for himself in Westfalen for throwing type. Landino (line 425) also thanks his fame to the performance star Lanciano, who sired Lord Sinclair. Further back we come to Paradox I, the versatile Westfalen sire, and behind him is Grünspecht. Paradox I counts as one of the Westfalen foundation sires. He was a very versatile sire and is in the pedigree of many sporthorses. (Hann. Stutenstamm 663-Schridde, Band I); great grandmother Grille is a full sister to Grünberg 41.01784.67 Ldb Westf; with Sioux (s Sinus xx) Grille produced Silvester 41.02360.73 Ldb Westf). The dam line produced the stallions Patriot (s Paradox I), Silvester (s Sioux xx), Polidiktus vd Helle (s Polydor) and Apart (s Angelo xx) amongst others. Dam Irodi produced 2 foals, of which 1 is a colt and 1 is a filly.
Performance
Ramon is an honest, reliable stallion. He has more than sufficient willingness to work and works more than sufficiently. The walk has sufficient scope and purity. The trot has sufficient scope and suppleness. Ramon has more than sufficient self-carriage in the trot. The impulsion and bend should be larger. Ramon has more than sufficient scope and more than sufficient impulsion at the canter. The balance is more than sufficient. Ramon has moderate to sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider a sufficient feeling. Ramon shows more than sufficient to much take-off in jumping. He should leave the ground a little quicker. He has good technique. He folds the foreleg well and bascules well. Ramon finishes the jump well from behind. He seems careful and shows a great deal of scope. Ramon has much to very much talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.

Ramon was bothered by thrush from the time he arrived. He was treated for it throughout the test.
