Offspring report

Offspring 1995 (foals)
The foals formed a uniform collection. There was no difference between the picked and the selected groups. They are well developed, riding type, strong foals with deep rumps. They lack a little refinement. The head has little expression. The neck is good, in length as well as in form and muscling. The wither is long and sufficiently developed. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back/loin formation is well muscled and connected. The croup has good length, shape and muscling. The hamstring is nice and long. The foreleg is straight. The hindleg is generally a little long and the angle varies. The legs are very strongly developed. The walk is sufficient in scope and a little stiff. The foals trot off the ground with good bend in the hock. The hindleg does not go under the body sufficiently, thereby limiting the trot somewhat. The foals trot with sufficient rise in the front but they lack suppleness. Due to an injury, one foal was evaluated in the stall. Another foal was inspected at home and fit in with the above picture.
The quality of the mares varied.
In short: a uniform collection of riding type, strong foals with sturdy legs. They should have more refinement. They have sufficient rise in the trot but the hindleg should come underneath further. They lack suppleness.
Shown: 15 foals out of 34 breedings.
