If you have purchased a KWPN horse, you can have the horse registered in your name. The name of the registered keeper is stated on the registration certificate and in the horse passport. The KWPN uses the term ‘registered keeper’ rather than ‘owner’, as these documents do not constitute proof of ownership. For participation in KWPN events, such as inspections and performance tests, and for the registration of coverings and foals, it is important that the horse is fully registered in your name.
Costs
You can have both the registration certificate and the horse passport transferred into your name. The fees for transfer can be found in the fee schedule.
