Pedigree:
Nordic Blue Hors is sired by the dressage phenomenon Totilas, who gained worldwide fame under Edward Gal. His exceptional sports achievements include titles such as World Champion and World Cup Winner. With Nordic Blue Hors, Totilas now has his sixth son approved by the KWPN. The dam of Nordic Blue Hors is the ster, sport-(dr), PROK mare Demeter B, a daughter of the renowned preferent sire Jazz. Demeter B competed at Z2 level and has already produced a Z2-level dressage horse. The dam line continues with ster, preferent, performance, PROK mare Rhea B, a daughter of the influential German Grand Prix stallion Rubinstein I. Rhea B produced, among others, the Grand Prix horse Athene B. (by Don Schufro), the ZZ-Licht horse Victoria B. (by Florestan I), and a Z2 dressage horse. The highly decorated great-granddam of Nordic Blue Hors is Hera I, an elite, preferent, performance, PROK mare by Belisar. Hera I also produced multiple sport horses, including the Grand Prix horse Ulixes (by Welcome) and several Z-level dressage horses.
Performance test report:
Nordic Blue Hors is an honest and reliable stallion with a good attitude. At times, he can be slightly distracted but remains sufficiently trainable. The stallion could be more consistent and steadier in the contact. His walk has good rhythm, is active, has excellent reach, and strides well. His trot displays good leg technique with a well-engaging hind leg. His canter has good reach, powerful push-off, and good to very good balance. He shows good suppleness and, at times, demonstrates an aptitude for collection. As a dressage horse, Nordic Blue Hors has significant potential and gives his rider a sufficient to good feeling.
Stable behavior:
An honest, reliable stallion, easy to handle, and calm in the stable.
Veterinary report:
The stallion has a noticeable scar on his left hind leg, resulting from a previous injury. However, this does not affect his performance.
Semen analysis:
Expected fertility classification: good.
