Pedigree:
Nalegro's pedigree combines Olympic genes. His sire, the Gribaldi son Painted Black, is a preferent stallion who performed at the highest level in dressage and competed in the London Olympics with Spanish rider Morgan Barbançon. Nalegro’s dam, the ster and PROK mare Jalegrofleur, is a daughter of the renowned preferent stallion Negro. Jalegrofleur is the full sister of the world-famous Valegro (by Negro), the double individual Olympic gold medalist with Charlotte Dujardin. The dam of Jalegrofleur and Valegro is the keur mare Maifleur, a daughter of Gerschwin. Maifleur is also the granddam of the international Intermediaire I horse U-Genius (by Uthopia). The great-granddam, Weidyfleur, a keur mare by the preferent stallion Heidelberg, produced a 1.30m show jumper and a Z2 dressage horse.
Performance test report:
Nalegro is an honest and diligent stallion with a good to very good attitude. He has a strong willingness to work and responds well to training. His walk has good rhythm and reach, with very good activity and power. His trot has very good push-off, sufficient to good reach, and an excellent, actively engaging hind leg with good carrying ability. His canter is very powerful, with a lot of jump, push-off, and good reach. Nalegro demonstrates adjustability and, at times, shows potential for collection. He moves with great suppleness, sufficient posture, and excellent balance. As a dressage horse, Nalegro has a lot to very much potential and gives his rider a good to very good feeling.
Stable behavior:
An honest, reliable stallion, easy to handle, and calm in the stable.
Veterinary report:
During the examination, a minor soft tissue swelling was observed at the back of the left hind leg near the upper part of the cannon bone. The stallion was not affected by this.
