Nephew is a generously developed, long-legged stallion with presence, standing well in the rectangular model. He has an expressive head. The neck is of good length with a light head-neck connection. The neck is well-shaped, of good length and well-muscled. The shoulder is of good length and well-positioned. The withers are well-developed and of good length. The back is of good length and well-muscled. The loins are well-connected, of good length and muscling. The croup is sufficiently long, sloping in position, and sufficiently muscled. The thigh muscle is sufficiently long. The foreleg is correctly positioned both from the side and front. The hind leg is correctly positioned. The pasterns front and back are of good length and correctly set. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The feet are sufficiently developed, sufficiently well-shaped, and of sufficient quality. The heels are slightly high.
Pedigree:
Nephew is the second son of Daily Diamond to be approved by the KWPN. Daily Diamond is a son of Daily Deal who completed his performance test with high marks.
Nephew’s dam is the ster mare Hailey, a daughter of the preferent sire Johnson, who competed at international Grand Prix level under Hans Peter Minderhoud. At her studbook inspection, Hailey received 85 points for both conformation and movement. Nephew’s pedigree continues through a line rich in predicates, with three elite mares in succession. Granddam Zespri is an elite IBOP mare by the Grand Prix stallion Scandic and produced the Small Tour horse Giovanni (by Ampère). Her elite preferent performance dam Reality B (by Mantovani) produced several sport horses, including the international Grand Prix horse Wild Dancer (by Florett As), who competed under Kathy Priest, as well as Z-level dressage horses by Scandic and Du Moulin.

The walk has sufficient ground cover, though it could show more overtrack. The trot is light-footed, has good ground cover, and a nice posture. Nephew could develop more push in the trot. The canter has a good jump, very good balance, and very good posture. He moves with a lot of lightness, good posture, and balance. As a dressage horse, Nephew shows sufficient potential and gives his rider a good to very good feeling.
