Mattias is a royal developed stallion, who is correct in the rectangular model with a slightly downward shap of the body. The head is appealing. The stallion has a heavy head-neck connection. The neck is well-shaped, well in length, and well-muscled. The shoulder is good in length and positioned sloping. The whither is well-developed and good in length. The back is good in length and sufficiently-muscled. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is sloping, sufficient in length, and sufficiently-muscled. The pant muscle is more than sufficient in length. The foreleg is correct. The hindleg is correct. The pasterns are correct and good in length. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The popular Cornet Obolensky son, Comme il Faut, was successful together with Marcus Ehning at the highest level and is the sire of Mattias. Mattias’s dam is Ietricia, from Catoki, the stallion who won several Grand Prix’, the World Cup at Bordeaux and Nation Cups, together with Philip Weishaupt for Germany. The second dam is Eetrichta ster sport-spr, who performed together with Marlon Zanotelli at Grand Prix level as Sweet Tricia. Her sire, the preferente Berlin, is known as the top jumping horse of Gerco Schröder, they won among others, team gold at the World Equestrian Games of 2006 in Aachen, and during the European Championships of 2007 in Mannheim. Continuing this damline with elite IBOP-spr-mare Aetrischta (s.Tampa) and the top inheriting stallions Corland, Indoctro, and Nimmerdor.

The canter is good in length with sufficient use of the body. Mattias has an upward way of jumping with very good reflexes and the use of body is more than sufficient.
