De veulens van Le Formidable zijn ruim voldoende tot zeer goed ontwikkeld. Ze staan doorgaans ruim voldoende tot goed in het rechthoeksmodel en hebben veel uitstraling. Enkele veulens zijn iets neerwaarts in de romprichting. De hals is doorgaans goed van lengte en ruim voldoende tot goed van richting en bespiering. Meerdere veulens hebben een lichte hoofdhalsverbinding. De hals komt bij enkele veulens wat diep op de borst en zou nog meer bovenlijn bespiering mogen hebben. De schouder is goed van ligging, bij meerdere veulens is de schouder duidelijk schuin gelegen. De rug is bij meerdere veulens iets week en de lendenen zijn iets wisselend van bespiering. De croupe is meerdere keren hellend van ligging en is iets wisselend van lengte. Het voorbeen is van terzijde gezien correct gesteld, van voren gezien een enkele keer licht frans, het achterbeen is doorgaans correct gesteld, bij enkele veulens is het achterbeen iets sabelbenig. De koostand is in het algemeen correct, bij enkele veulens is de kootstand iets weker. Het fundament is hard en een aantal keer iets fijn. De stap is ruim voldoende van ruimte. In draf tonen de veulens ruim voldoende tot een goede ruimte, souplesse, kracht en balans. De galop heeft een ruim voldoende ruimte en souplesse. De veulens galopperen met ruim voldoende tot goede afdruk en balans.

Conformation:
Le Formidable is a well-developed, appealing stallion with a more than sufficient rectangular model. The head is appealing. The neck has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, length and muscling. The shoulder has good length and a good position. The withers are well developed and have more than sufficient length. The back is a bit sunken, more than sufficient in length and more than sufficiently muscled. The loins are more than sufficiently muscled and more than sufficiently connected. The croup is slightly sloping, more than sufficient in length and has good muscling. The hamstring has more than sufficient length. When viewed from the side, the foreleg is correctly set, when viewed from the front, the right front leg is slightly toed-out. The hindleg is a bit sickled. Both hind and front pasterns are long and weak. The foundation is more than sufficiently developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are well developed, good in shape and of good quality. The heels are correctly developed.

Le Formidable, the champion of the KWPN Stallion Show 2019, is a son of the Grand Prix stallion Bordeaux, who has received his seventh approved son with Le Formidable at the KWPN.
The mother of Le Formidable is the mare Vienna, a daughter of the preferent Olympic dressage stallion Ferro. She is also the dam of the KWPN stallion Four Legends KS (by Wynton), a ZZ-Heavy horse by Wynton and a Z2 horse by the same father. Her mother Annabel, a daughter of the famous stallion De Niro, is a well-known broodmare. She is known as the mother of the KWPN stallions Bretton Woods (by Johnson), who is classified Inter I, and Chagall D&R (by Jazz) who started international Grand Prix under Patrick van der Meer. Annabel produced another ZZ-Heavy horse from Ferro and a daughter who is classified in the ZZ-L from Wynton.
Performance report:
Le Formidable is an honest and reliable stallion with a good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk is regular, more than sufficient to good in space with more than sufficient flexibility. The trot is light-footed with a nice use of the front leg, has good space with a hindleg which should develop even more power. The canter is good uphill with a very good foreleg technique, good space but could have more power and impulsion. Le Formidable moves with good to very good posture, good balance and good flexibility. Le Formidable has a lot of talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.

Honest reliable stallion, easy going and calm in the stable.
