The fifteen-year-old Casallo Z is riden by Piergiorgio Bucci in the Grand Prix and has, among others, won the Big Price of Estoril, Poznan, Hickstead, Outdoor Gelderland and Monte Carlo. The duo represented Italy in Nations Cup competitions several times. Casallo Z is bred out of the Holsteiner mare Katinka III. Her half-sister Calandra (by Calido I) jumps internationally at 1.60 level.
Casallo Z is a well-developed, riding type stallion with a good rectangular model.
The head is appealing with a nice and friendly eye.
The neck has good length with a light head-neck connection.
The neck has good shape, length and muscling. The transition from neck to withers should be a bit smoother.
The withers are well developed and more than sufficient in length.
The shoulder is more than sufficient in length and a little straight in position.
The back has good length, falls a bit away behind the withers and has good muscling.
The loins are well muscled and well connected.
The croup is slightly sloping, should have a bit more length and is well muscled.
The hamstring has a very good length.
The foreleg is slightly toed-in when viewed from the front and slightly standing under the body when viewed from the side.
The hindleg is long, a bit straight and stands behind the mass.
The pasterns are good in length and somewhat straight.
The hooves are narrow, of good quality with correctly developed heels.
The foundation is well developed and of good quality.
The walk is regular, more than sufficient in space and has sufficient elasticity.
The trot has sufficient space with a good posture. The use of the foreleg is slightly flat.
