Conformation:
Lord Romantic is a well-developed, appealing stallion who is in a good rectangular shape with a slightly downward body direction. The head is appealing. The neck is sufficient in length with a light head-neck connection. The neck is set a little horizontal, very good in length and has good muscling. The shoulder has good length and a good position. The withers are more than sufficiently developed and have more than sufficient length. The back has good length and good muscling. The loins are well muscled and well connected. The croup is slightly sloping, more than sufficient in length and more than sufficient in muscling. The hamstring has good length. The foreleg is correctly positioned. The hindleg is correctly set but a bit long. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The foundation is well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well developed, good in shape and of good quality. The heels are correctly developed.
Descendant:
Lord Romantic is a son of Don Romantic, who was Stallion of the Year in Denmark in 2010. On his turn, he has the famous and recently died stallion Don Schufro as a father, who caused a furore in sports with, among other things, the Olympic bronze team medal under Andreas Helgstrand.
Lord Romantic's dam, Veroniek, descends from Grand Prix stallion Krack C, who has had a lot of influence in dressage breeding. She classified in Z2 dressage and her dam Normiek (by Hitchcock) managed to produce even more good sport horses. She is the mother of a ZZ-Heavy horse from Apache and Z-dressage horses from Tolando and Gribaldi. Normiek is the half-sister of the Small Tour horse Donzel (by Zeoliet) and their mother Termiek (by Onyx) is also the (great) grandmother of a large number of sport horses.
Performance report:
Lord Romantic is a balanced, reliable and sympathetic stallion with a good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk is regular, active and has good space. The trot is light-footed and has good space and flexibility. The canter is uphill with good space and a good leg technique. Lord Romantic moves with more than sufficient posture, much to very much balance and good flexibility. Lord Romantic has a lot of talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable behaviour:
Honest reliable stallion, easy going and calm in the stable.

Lord Romantic can add movement technique and workability to dressage horse breeding.

The head is expressive with a big eye.
The neck has good length with a good head-neck connection.
The neck has a nice shape, more than sufficient length and good muscling.
The withers are well developed and should be a bit longer.
The shoulder has more than sufficient length and a good position.
The back is sunken and more than sufficient in length (assessed at the age of 18).
The loins are a bit poorly muscled and could be more nicely connected.
The croup has a slightly sloping position, more than sufficient length and more than sufficient muscling.
The hamstring has good length.
The foreleg is correctly positioned.
The hindleg is set sickled.
The pasterns are sufficient in length and set a bit weak.
The hooves are more than sufficiently developed and of good quality with good heels.
The foundation is suitably developed and of sufficient hard quality.
The walk has good space and plenty of flexibility.
The trot has more than sufficient space and posture with a correct placement of the hindleg under the body. The foreleg should have even more shoulder freedom.
The canter is more than sufficiently powerful, more than sufficient in space, is carried with a more than sufficient attitude.
