Kordon VDL (Glennfiddich VDL x Kreator xx x Orion Fortuna)
Kordon VDL showed a uniform collection, more than sufficient to well-developed, appealing foals with more than sufficient to a good rectangular model. The heads are expressive. The foals have an appealing forehand with usually a good shoulder. The top line of the foals scored at home should in some cases be stronger and more connected. The top lines of the foals selected by the owners were well muscled and well connected. The croup is sloping several times. The foreleg is back at the knee sometimes when viewed from the side. The hindleg is alternated, mostly correct, but foals have also been scored with a straight or sickle leg. The walk is more than sufficient to good in space, but a toed-out position has been observed several times. The foreleg is somewhat tight in the trot. The trot has more than sufficient space and flexibility, pushing and should be more powerful. The canter has good space, has sufficient elasticity and more than sufficient impulsion and balance.

Conformation:
Kordon VDL is a generously developed, riding type stallion who is in a good rectangular model with a downward body direction. The head is appealing with a nice eye. The neck has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck is horizontal, good in length and well-muscled but slightly deep out of the chest. The shoulder is good in length and has a little straight position. The withers are more than sufficiently developed and of good length. The back is good in length and well-muscled. The loins are well connected and well-muscled. The croup is slightly sloping, more than sufficient in length and good muscling. The hamstring has good length. The front leg is clearly back at the knee when viewed from the side and when viewed from the front the right front leg is toed-out. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The foundation is well developed and of good quality. The feet are well developed, good in shape, good in quality with correctly developed heels.
Descendant:
Kordon VDL comes from the first year of offspring of Glenfiddich VDL and is therefore his first approved son. Glenfiddich VDL is the only KWPN approved son of Bacardi VDL, who is successful at Grand Prix level under Janika Sprunger. Kordon VDL has the half-blood mare Anoulavsca Fortuna as dam, she is a star PROK daughter of the thoroughbred Kreator xx who also does perform good with his offspring in the eventing sport. Kordon VDL's half-brother, Brighton Bay (by Ultimo) of Emma Moussac, is classified in the international 1.45m level. Her dam Vorione Fortuna, a Keur and sport (jumping) mare by Orion Fortuna jumped internationally and is the granddam of an international 1.35m show jumper by Spartacus. Kordon VDL's great-grandmother Mhilavsca Fortuna, a star, preferent, performance mare by Voltaire, produced the international 1.30m and 1.40m show jumpers Chicco (by Tygo) and Fhilavska (by Nabab de Reve). She is also grandmother of the international show jumpers Cooper (by Carolus II), Emhilavsca Fortuna (by Padinus), the 1.50m classified KWPN stallion Entertainer (by Warrant) and the 1.50m classified Zellobee (by Berlin) of Maureen Bonder.
Performance report:
Kordon VDL is an honest, reliable and enthusiastic to walk stallion with a good to very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk is more than sufficient to good in space. The trot has more than sufficient to good space. The stallion moves a little on the forehand but has a good balance. The canter is powerful, active with good space. Kordon VDL jumps well with an upwards body direction, with good reflexes, a lot to very much body use and a good foreleg technique where the jump is completed well to very well in the hindlegs. Kordon VDL seems careful and shows a lot of athletic ability. Kordon VDL has a lot of talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.

Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.
