Offspring report

De veulens van King Karim zijn iets wisselend van ontwikkeling, waarbij meerdere veulens goed tot zeer goed zijn ontwikkeld. Ze staan ruim voldoende tot goed in het rechthoeksmodel en hebben veel uitstraling. De veulens hebben doorgaans een goed gevormde voorhand met een ruim voldoende tot goed bespierde, iets verticaal gestelde hals en een goede hoofdhalsverbinding. De schouder ligt er goed in. De rug is ruim voldoende gelegen, een aantal keer is deze wat week. De lendenen zijn goed van bespiering. De croupe is een aantal keer iets hellend van ligging en ruim voldoende van lengte. Het voorbeen en achterbeen zijn doorgaans van terzijde gezien correct gesteld, een enkele keer iets steil gekoot en van voren gezien is het voorbeen enkele malen licht frans gesteld. Het fundament is iets wisselend van omvang en hard van kwaliteit. De stap is doorgaans ruim voldoende tot goed van ruimte. In draf tonen de veulens een ruim voldoende ruimte en ruim voldoende tot veel souplesse, kracht en balans.
In galop tonen de veulens een ruim voldoende ruimte en voldoende tot ruim voldoende souplesse, en ruim voldoende tot goede afdruk en balans.

Performance test report

Conformation:
King Karim is a generously developed stallion with a good rectangular model. The head is appealing. The neck has more than sufficient length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck is somewhat horizontal, more than sufficient in length and good muscling. The shoulder is good in length and a little straight in position. The withers are well developed and of good length. The back has sufficient length and more than sufficient muscling. The loins are well muscled and well connected. The croup is sloping, more than sufficient in length and more than sufficient in muscling. The hamstring should be a little longer. The foreleg is correctly adjusted from the side and slightly toed-in when viewed from the front. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are correctly positioned and of good length. The foundation is well developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are well developed, the left hoof is a little narrower, with slightly uneven heels.
Descendant:
King Karim comes from the first year of offspring from Glock's Toto Jr., who won the Pavo Cup when he was five years old. Glock's Toto Jr.'s father is the legendary Gribaldi son Totilas, who was almost unbeatable in the Grand Prix under Edward Gal. The duo became European champions and won the WEG in Lexington and the World Cup in Den Bosch. King Karim's mother is the elite mare Blexta, who passed the mare test with almost only eights. She is a daughter of the preferent Painted Black, who, in addition to his sports career, also makes his mark in breeding. Under the Spanish Morgan Barbançon Mestre, he participated in the Olympic Games in London, the WEG in Caen, the European Championship in Aachen and the World Cup final in Las Vegas where the duo finished eighth. King Karim's grandmother Rulexta, a daughter of Flemmingh, who had also the predicate preferent, produced dressage horses by Florencio and Polansky Z and the third preferent stallion in a row is the father of King Karim's great-grandmother. This elite mare Hilexta, is descended from Cocktail, who we know as father of the top sire Jazz. Hilexta is the dam of Z-dressage horses of Indoctro and Flemmingh and is grandmother of the international showjumper Veroniek (by Niveau) and the 2 * event horse Tahorn (by Ahorn).
Performance report:
King Karim is an honest and reliable stallion with a good to very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk is regular, active and has good to very good space. The stallion has good leg technique in the trot, a good space with an active hindleg which is placed under the body very good. The canter is powerful, uphill, carried and good to very good in space with good foreleg technique. King Karim moves with great flexibility, more than sufficient posture and a lot of balance. King Karim has much to very much talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable behaviour:
Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.
Veterinary report:
The stallion was treated a number of times physiotherapeutically during the examination because of complaints of stiffness..
Sperm test:
Expected fertilizing ability class: sufficient.
Breeding / matching advice:
King Karim can improve the canter and add leg technique to dressage horse breeding.

Blexta is a well-developed mare in a good rectangular model with a slightly downward body direction.
The neck has good length with a light head-neck connection.
The neck is set somewhat vertically and has good length and good muscling.
The withers are well developed.
The shoulder is a bit straight.
The back has good length and good muscling.
The loins are slightly tight.
The croup has a sloping position and good length.
The foreleg is slightly toed-in when viewed from the front and slightly back at the knee when viewed from the side.

The hooves are slightly narrow with low heels.
The foundation is well developed and of good quality.
The walk has good space.
The trot has good space with more than sufficient posture and a good placement of the hindleg under the body.
The canter is more than sufficiently powerful, more than sufficient in space and sufficiently carried.
Blexta achieved the following results in the EPTM trial in 2009:
