Conformation:
Jager is a well-developed, appealing stallion with a good rectangular model. The head is expressive. The neck has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, good length and more than enough muscling. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and a slightly straight position. The withers are well developed and of sufficient length. The back is slightly sunken, is of good length and a bit poorly muscled. The loins are sufficiently muscled and sufficiently connected. The croup has a good position but should have more length and muscles. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg is correctly adjusted when viewed from the side and slightly toed-in when viewed from the front. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are more than sufficient in length and are straight. The foundation is sufficiently developed and of good quality. The hooves are more than sufficiently developed, a bit different in shape with more than sufficient quality. The heels are more than sufficiently developed.
Descendant:
Preferent Numero Uno, himself performed in international sport, is known as the sire of Jager. His mother Contiki is a daughter of Carthago, who twice participated in the Olympic Games under Jos Lansink. Contiki already brought the Grand Prix horse Tum Tum (by Voltaire) from Patrick van der Schans, as well as 1.30m horses from Clinton and Zento. Her full brother Cobra jumps at 1.40m level and their dam S-Ladalca (by Landgraf I) also produced a 1.30m horse from Caretino. She is also the (great) grandmother of various international show jumpers.
Jager's great-grandmother, Junda (by Cor de la Bryere), is also at the starting point of several sport horses.
Performance report:
Jager is an honest and reliable, quickly distracted stallion with a good to very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and can be worked with sufficiently easy. The walk has more than sufficient space and flexibility. The trot has sufficient to more than sufficient space and carriage. The stallion has more than sufficient posture and balance in movement. After the jump it is difficult for the stallion to find his balance and he is often in crossed canter during left lead turnings. The canter is light-footed and has more than sufficient to good space. Jager jumps with good reflexes and good foreleg technique. The jump is completed more than sufficient to good in the hindlegs. Jager should baculate more on the jump. Jager seems careful and shows more than sufficient to much scope. Jager has more than sufficient to much talent for jumping and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable behaviour:
Honest reliable stallion, easy going and calm in the stable.

The stallion has been treated by a physiotherapy several times.
