Lineage:
Impression's pedigree unites multiple top sires. Among these are Don Schufro,
Ferro and Florestan I, all of which have been represented in recent years in
the WBFSH ranking for dressage stallions. Notable achievements by Don Schufro
include winning the team bronze medal under Andreas Helgstrand at the 2008 Hong
Kong Olympics. Several of the stallion's offspring have won team medals at the
World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses, including Uno Donna
Unique and his grandson Sezuan. The preferent stallion Ferro also competed in
the Olympics (Sydney in 2000), capturing the team silver medal under Coby van
Baalen and placing fifth individually.
Florestan I's notable achievements include producing the KWPN keur stallion
Florencio (recently deceased), who posted top scores twice in the World
Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Impression’s dam was the
champion of the central inspection in Utrecht and among the top three-year-olds
at the National Mare Inspection. Impression's granddam Sicara is classified at
the ZZ-advanced level, and her dam Nicara earned the sport predicate. In
addition, Nicara is the dam of a Z-level dressage horse by Lingh and a ZZ-light
dressage horse by Ferro.
