Among the foals scored at their home location, the neck has sufficient length with sometimes slightly vertical placement and good muscling. Among the foals selected by the registered party, the neck has good shape, length and muscling. The front leg is correct. Hind leg conformation varies from sickle-hocked to correct to straight. The legs are solid and have appropriate circumference. The croup is sloped and should be longer. The walk has more than sufficient scope. The trot has more than sufficient to good scope and elasticity. The canter has more than sufficient scope, push, and balance.

Connect is a more than sufficiently developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has more than sufficient length with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good length and more than sufficient shape and muscling. The wither is sufficiently developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling. The loin has good muscling and is well connected. The croup has good placement, length, and muscling. There is more than sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns are correct and have good length. The legs are well developed and of more than sufficient quality. The hooves are of good shape and quality.

Connect is by Connor (Casall x Cor de la Bryère x Capitol I) out of the Contender daughter Marcie. Her other offspring include a 1.35m jumper by Cassini I. Connect's granddam Binne is a daughter of the influential stallion Lord. She is also the dam of sporthorses including a 1.35m- and 1.40m jumper by Acadius (s.Accord II); a 1.40m jumper by Athlet Z (s.Almé); and the SWB-approved stallion Athletic Lord (s.Athlet Z), a Grand Prix show jumper under Italy's Martina Casaro. Connect's great-granddam Pinne is by Toledo (s.Tumbled xx) out of Liebelei, a daughter of Fontan (s.Farnese) x Favus (s.Fahrwohl).

Connect is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good temperament. He is very willing to work, has very good trainability, and a good mouth. The walk has more than sufficient to good scope. The trot has good scope. The canter is light-footed, carried, and has good scope. The stallion moves with abundant elasticity and good to very good body position and balance. Connect jumps with good reflexes and uses his body well. He also jumps with good form and completes his jumps well with his hind end. Connect appears careful and shows abundant scope. He demonstrates abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a good feeling.

Several years ago, Marcie had laminitis; as a result, the now 17-year-old mare could not be properly evaluated for movement.
