Conformation:
Inspiration VDL is a well-developed, riding-type stallion with sufficient
rectangular-shaped conformation and a downhill body direction. The head is
attractive. The poll has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The
neck has good shape with sufficient length and muscling. The wither is
sufficiently developed with sufficient length. The shoulder is straight and has
sufficient length. The back has sufficient length and good muscling. The loins
have sufficient length but are a little tight. The croup is lightly sloped with
more than sufficient length and good muscling. There is good length from the
point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct. The
hind leg is a fraction straight. The pasterns have good length and are a
fraction straight. The legs are sufficiently developed and of very good
quality. The hooves are well developed with good shape and quality. The heels
are well developed.
Lineage:
Until his official retirement from the sport at the 2015 KWPN Stallion Show,
Bubalu VDL was among the world's top show jumpers. Under Jur Vrieling, the
Baloubet du Rouet son was an invaluable asset to the Dutch team which won the
gold at the World Equestrian Games in Caen and the Nations Cup final in
Barcelona. Inspiration VDL's dam's sire is the world-renowned Quidam de Revel,
who won the team bronze medal at the Barcelona Olympics and placed fourth
individually under Hervé Godignon. In addition, he led the WBFSH jumper sires
ranking for several years. His daughter Beamonika, the dam of Inspiration VDL,
earned high scores for conformation at the studbook inspection. In her IBOP
test, she received an 8 for the canter, form and talent; and an 8.5 for scope.
Her grandsire on the dam's sire, the preferent stallion Heartbreaker, is
another stallion with an impressive list of achievements. Since 2009, the
former Grand Prix stallion has been in the top 10 of the WBFSH rankings due to
his good performance offspring. His daughter Tamonika produced a 1.30m jumper
by Diarado, and she is the full-sister of two international show jumpers. Their
dam Kamonika (s.Voltaire) is also the granddam of several 1.30m/1.35m
jumpers.

Performance Test Report:
Inspiration VDL is an honest and reliable stallion with a youthful look and a
good disposition. He is very willing to work and has good to very good trainability.
The walk has more than sufficient scope. The trot has more than sufficient
scope and elasticity. The canter needs to develop more push and carriage but
has good scope. The stallion moves with more than sufficient to good body
position but still has some difficulty with his balance. Inspiration VDL jumps
with good push and reflexes. He jumps with good body elevation but sometimes
jumps with an open front leg. Inspiration VDL appears careful and shows
abundant scope. The stallion demonstrates abundant talent as a jumper and gives
his rider a more than sufficient feeling.
Stable Behavior:
Inspiration VDL is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground
and quiet in his stall.

Inspiration VDL can add rideability and willingness to jumper breeding.

Beamonika is a well-developed, attractive mare with good rectangular-shaped
conformation.
The head is attractive with a beautiful eye.
The poll has good length with a light head-neck connection.
The neck has good shape with sufficient length and muscling.
The wither is well developed and has good length.
The shoulder has good length and placement.
The back has more than sufficient length and good muscling.
The loins have good muscling and are well connected.
The croup has good placement, length and muscling.
There is more than sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of
the buttock.
The front leg is correct when viewed from the front but slightly back at the
knee when viewed from the side.
The hind leg is correct.
The pasterns have good length and are correct.
The hooves are well developed and of good quality with well-developed heels.
The legs are well developed and of good quality.
The walk is pure with good scope and elasticity.
The trot has sufficient scope with good body position and a hind leg that
carries / steps sufficiently under the body.
The canter was not evaluated as the mare was in the late stages of pregnancy at
the time of the inspection.
In 2011, Beamonika earned the following scores in the IBOP test:
walk: 7, trot: 5.5, carriage & balance: 7, canter: 8, reflexes: 7 form: 8,
scope: 8.5, disposition: 7.5, rideability & trainability: 7.5, talent for
jumping 8. Total: 77.5 points.
