Samenvatting
Icellie toonde een zeer uniforme collectie zeer tuigtypische veulens die goed
ontwikkeld zijn. Ze vertonen zeer veel ras en uitstraling en staan goed in het
rechthoeksmodel.
Het gebruik van het voorbeen is zeer goed van ruimte en heeft veel actie.
Het achterbeen heeft veel buiging, en wordt goed en met veel kracht
ondergebracht.
De veulens zetten de hals er in draf goed tot zeer goed op en komen goed terug
in het front. De veulens klimmen er zeer goed in, hebben een goede tot zeer
goede takt en balans en hebben veel tot zeer veel zweefmoment.

Het hoofd is sprekend en goed gevormd.
De nek is goed van vorm en lengte.
De hals is goed van vorm en lengte en staat er goed tot zeer goed op.
De schoft is goed ontwikkeld.
De schouder is goed van lengte, maar zou er schuiner in moeten liggen.
De rug is voldoende bespierd.
De lendenen zijn zeer goed bespierd.
De croupe is goed van lengte en ligging.
De broekspier is goed van lengte.
Het fundament is hard en droog.
Het voorbeen is correct gesteld en goed van lengte.
De koten zijn goed van lengte en correct gesteld.
Het achterbeen is correct gesteld.
De hoeven zijn goed van vorm en kwaliteit.
De stap is goed van ruimte en kracht.
Het gebruik van het voorbeen is zeer goed van ruimte en heeft veel actie.

Fokadvies
De veulens van Icellie vallen positief op met hun ras en uitstraling en takt en
balans in beweging. De hengst lijkt uniform te fokken bij een diversiteit aan
merries.

Conformation:
Icellie has good rectangular-shaped conformation but needs slightly more
elevation in his body. The head is sufficiently attractive. The head-neck
connection is slightly heavy. The neck has sufficient length and good muscling,
but needs higher carriage. The wither is very well developed and long. The
shoulder has sufficient slope and abundant length. The back and loins have good
placement and muscling. The croup has good length and placement. The front leg
is correct, and the hind leg is slightly sickle-hocked. The pastern angle is
correct. The hooves have good shape, and the legs are solid.
Lineage:
Icellie, the reserve champion of the stallion selection, is by the Hackney
stallion Bocellie. Bocellie’s sire Plain’s Liberator - a multiple champion in
harness and a Hackney Studbook keur stallion - is approved for KWPN
breeding. The mare Petrose is out of the famous Denderose-line, which has
produced offspring including the KWPN stallion Fantijn and the National Mare
Inspection champion Fiderose. Petrose foaled ten offspring, among them the
second round viewing stallion Andron (s.Saffraan) and the Manno son Danno, who
is successful in the sport. Petrose also produced offspring by Saffraan and
Larix, which have earned points. The latter of these is the elite mare
Winnetou, who earned a top score of 84.5 points in the IBOP, including 9's for
hind leg use and willingness. Petrose’s sire Jonker, who was registered in the
studbook with very high scores, boasts four approved sons. In 2000, he won the
breeding stallion championship, prior to being exported to America, where he
enjoyed great popularity.
Performance Test Report:
Icellie is a sensitive, energetic and somewhat impertinent stallion. The
stallion is very willing to work and good to drive, but requires an experienced
driver. The walk is powerful but needs more scope. Pulling the show
carriage, the stallion demonstrates more than sufficient neck carriage and very
good body use. Icellie has very abundant knee action and very good reach in the
front leg. The hind leg shows very good bend and steps under the body very
well. The trot shows excellent suspension and excellent talent for collection.
Icellie is extremely willing and has abundant to very abundant talent as a
harness horse. He gives his driver a good feeling. The stallion made
significant progress in the performance test.

Stable Behavior:
Icellie is a dominant stallion that requires an alert handler. He is quiet in
his stall.
Veterinary Report:
No peculiarities noted.

Expected fertility class: good.
Breeding Recommendation:
The stallion can improve movement and talent for collection. He is best bred to
mares with ample "front." Because of his low in-breeding percentage,
Icellie can benefit the harness horse population.
