Hermès showed a uniform collection of dressage foals that showed a lot of blood and had an expressive head, with a bit fine but lean and correct leg conformation. The walk is more than sufficient to good in length. The trot is light-footed and more than sufficient in length with a lot of elasticity. The canter has a lot of balance and more than sufficient use of body.

Hermès can add blood and light-footedness and technique in movement to the breeding of dressage horses. Mares should be build uphill.

Performance test report

Conformation:
Hermès is a well-developed, slightly overbuilt stallion with more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has good length with a light head-neck connection. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither has sufficient length and good development. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length but is slightly weak. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup has good placement and muscling but needs slightly more length. The line from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock should be longer. The front leg is a fraction toed-in when viewed from the front and correct when viewed from the side. The hind leg is slightly straight. The front pasterns have good length and are correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves have good shape and are well developed, but the heels are slightly low.
Lineage:
Hermès is the first KWPN-approved son by Easy Game, a Trakehner stallion (s.Gribaldi) out of the top broodmare Evita (s.Schwadroneur). Hermès's dam Bukkie, a keur mare by Flemmingh, excelled in her mare test. Her dam Ukkie is an elite preferent mare by Jazz. Two of Ukkie's full-brothers compete in the Intermediaire I and medium tour. The dam-line continues with Janny, a preferent mare by the Trakehner stallion Chronos, followed by a prestatie mare by the proven sire Doruto.
Performance Test Report:
Hermès is an honest stallion with a more than sufficient temperament but who is easily distracted by his environment. The stallion is very willing to work and has more than sufficient trainability. The walk is pure and has good scope. The trot is light-footed with sufficient power, good balance, and more than sufficient scope. The canter is light-footed, big, and carried. Hermès shows abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable Behavior:
Hermès is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.
Veterinary Report:
The stallion received routine dental care.
Semen Inspection:
Expected fertility class: sufficient.
Breeding Recommendation:
Hermès can add "blood" and light-footed movement to dressage horse breeding. He is best bred to mares with uphill conformation.
Dam Report:
Bukkie is a more than sufficiently developed mare with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. She has presence and a strong "bloodhorse" look.
The head is attractive.
The head-neck connection is more than sufficiently light.
The neck has sufficient length and more than sufficient muscling, but its placement should be a bit more upward from the wither.
The wither is more than sufficiently developed and has more than sufficient length.
The shoulder has more than sufficient length and is somewhat straight.
The back is slightly weak.
The loins are more than sufficiently connected.
The croup is sloped and short. There is sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock.
The front leg is a fraction back at the knee when viewed from the side.
The hind leg is a fraction straight.
Both the front- and hind pasterns are weak.
The hooves are wide, and the heels are low.
The legs are clean but somewhat fine-boned.
The walk is active with more than sufficient scope. When viewed from the front, the mare moves toed in and paddles with both front legs.
The trot is active with more than sufficient scope and good movement. Bukkie uses the front leg well. She shows more than sufficient body position and elasticity in the trot.
In the canter, Bukkie shows good scope and body position. She could show a bit more power from the hind end. The mare was in the late stages of pregnancy during the inspection.
In 2009, Bukkie earned the following scores in the EPTM test:
walk: 8, trot: 8, canter: 8.5, elasticity: 8, carriage & balance: 7.5, rideability & trainability: 8, dressage talent: 8, total: 80.5 points.
