Homerun showed a collection of well-developed, appealing, well-muscled foals that fit into the rectangular model more than sufficiently to good. The foals have an expressive head. The canter is good in length and elasticity but should have more impulsion and balance sometimes.

Conformation:
Homerun is a well-developed stallion with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation and a downhill body direction. The head is attractive. The poll is short with a heavy head-neck connection. The neck has sufficient length and muscling, but comes out deep from the chest. The wither has sufficient length and development. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and placement. The back has sufficient length and muscling. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup has sufficient length and placement with more than sufficient muscling. There is more than sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is somewhat camped-under. The hind leg is straight with slightly weak pasterns. The front pasterns have sufficient length and are correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are of good shape and quality.
Lineage:
Homerun is Vivant van de Heffinck's first approved son. For years, Vivant van de Heffinck (Fuego du Prelet x Landino) represented Ukraine in Grand Prix-level show jumping under riders including Oleksandr Onyshchenko and Cassio Rivetti. With three consecutive talented jumper mares in his dam-line, Homerun should be an excellent addition to jumper breeding. His ster sport-(jump) dam Double Quick is currently excelling in show jumping under Laura Kraut. Homerun's granddam Wet Wet is a keur sport-(jump) mare by Phin Phin, who was a successful international jumper under Dennis van de Brink. The third mare in this pedigree, Whisper V-C, is a 1.40m jumper in America. The dam-line traces its origins back to France through Kashmir van Schuttershof and Karabaca.

The walk has little rhythm but sufficient scope. The trot has sufficient scope. The canter has more than sufficient to good scope with more than sufficient push. The stallion moves with sufficient body position and good balance. Homerun jumps with a well-elevated wither, good to very good reflexes, and good body use. The stallion jumps with good to very good front leg form and a slightly long hind leg. He appears careful and demonstrates abundant to very abundant scope. Homerun shows abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling.
