Glamourdale showed a uniform collection of well-developed, long-lined, and attractive foals with good dressage horse conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The back is sometimes dropped and has moderately connected loins. The croup is slightly sloped and has good length. One foal has a toed-out front leg. The hind leg is slightly long and sickle-hocked. The legs are solid and appropriate. The walk has more than sufficient scope. The trot is uphill with good scope and elasticity; however, the hind leg needs to step more actively under the body. The foals show an attractive forehand in the trot. The canter is powerful with good scope and elasticity.

Glamourdale is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation and a handsome front end. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has good length. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling. The loin is well connected with good muscling. The croup is slightly straight but has good length and muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is correct but slightly long. The pasterns have good length and are correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are of good shape and quality.
Lineage:
Glamourdale, the champion of the 2014 stallion selection, boasts proven bloodlines: Lord Leatherdale x Negro, a successful combination. Glamourdale's dam Thuja is a preferent mare, and his granddam Jasmijn is a keur preferent mare by Ahorn (s.Nimmerdor). Bred to Negro, she produced Thuja's full-brother: the Grand Prix dressage horse and selected stallion Numberto, ridden by Severo Jesus Lopez. Glamourdale's great-granddam Clementine is by the Pericles xx son Ulft. Clementine also produced Händel (s.Wolfgang), the Grand Prix show jumper which competed successfully in the international ring under Michael Whitaker. The dam-line continues with Porta by Garant out of Jolanda (Talisman xx x Oleander).

The trot has good scope and excellent balance. The canter is uphill and very powerful with very abundant scope. Glamourdale moves with abundant to very abundant elasticity, self-carriage and balance. He has abundant to very abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a very good feeling.

2014 Dam Viewing Report: Thuja Stb pref
Thuja is a more than sufficiently developed, slightly short-legged mare with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation.
The head is attractive, with a large eye.
The poll has sufficient length with a light head-neck connection.
The neck has vertical placement with heavy muscling and more than sufficient length.
The wither is more than sufficiently developed with sufficient length.
The shoulder has good length and placement.
The back is slightly weak and has sufficient muscling.
The loin is slightly weak and has sufficient muscling.

There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock.
The front leg is slightly camped-under.
The hind leg is straight with a moderate tie-in to the cannon bone and moderate hock conformation.

On May 16 and May 19, 2014, four direct Thuja offspring were evaluated, particularly on hock conformation. All four were deemed to have correct hocks. As a result of this information, plus the fact that Thuja earned the preferent predicate and, at age 3, exceeded the standard for studbook acceptance (also with respect to leg conformation), the Stallion Selection Committee decided to approve Glamourdale for KWPN breeding, despite the above report.
