Fairytale showed a uniform collection of foals with sufficient to more than sufficient development. The head is attractive. Both the back and loins should have more length and muscling. The front leg is correct but somewhat fine-boned when viewed from the side, and toed-out with small hooves when viewed from the front. The hind leg is sickle-hocked. The walk has sufficient scope and elasticity. The trot is light-footed with sufficient scope. The hind leg needs to step more powerfully under the body and carry more in the trot. The canter has more than sufficient scope but should show more body use.

Conformation
Fairytale is a well-developed
stallion with very good dressage horse conformation. The head is attractive,
with an appealing eye. The poll has good length. The neck has good length,
shape, and muscling. The wither is well developed and has good length. The
shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling.
The loins have more than sufficient muscling and are well connected. The croup
has good length and placement. There is good length from the point of the hip
to the point of the buttock. The front leg has more
than sufficient length and correct conformation. The hind leg is correct. The
pasterns have good length and conformation. The legs are well developed and of
good quality. The hooves are a fraction small with high heels; the right front
is higher than the left front.
Lineage
Fairytale is a Lord Leatherdale son.
Fairytale's dam Aida is by the preferent sire
Negro. Ballerina II, Fairytale's granddam, is also the dam of the KWPN stallion
Diëgo and a full sister of the approved stallion Don Ruto. Ballerina II is by
Don Gregory (s.Donnerhall), out of Ballerina (s.Rubinstein I), who is also the
dam of the approved stallion Royal Doruto (s.Royal Hit). The dam-line, which
traces back to Trakehner origins, continues with daughters of Matador, Carajan,
and Hirtensang. The KWPN preferent dressage horse sire Doruto
is another product of this line.
Inspection Report
Fairytale is an honest and reliable stallion with a
very good temperament. He is very willing to work and has very good trainability.
The walk is clear and active with abundant scope. The trot has abundant scope,
carriage, and power. The canter has very abundant scope and power. The stallion
shows excellent body position and movement with good use of his body. Fairytale
has abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a very good feeling.

Stable Behavior

Fairytale is an honest and reliable stallion. He is
easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Veterinary Report

On May 10th, the horse appeared stiff. He was examined
and diagnosed with lameness in both front legs. The recommended treatment was
rest, anti-inflammatory medication, and resetting the stallion's shoes. A blood
test indicated a raised liver value, which subsequently returned to normal
parameters.
The stallion received dental treatment on May
17th.
On May 21st, the horse was not sound in the left hind
leg. Chiropractic treatment was administered.

sufficiently developed mare with good rectangular-shaped conformation and
nobility.

more carriage in both the trot and canter. She can collect well.
