Conformation:
Fanlac is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation and a downhill body direction. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has sufficient length with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good length with sufficient muscling, but comes out deep from the chest. The wither is well-developed and has more than sufficient length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling. The loin is well connected and has good muscling. The croup has good placement, sufficient length, and more than sufficient muscling. The line from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock should be longer. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is slightly straight. The front pasterns are correct but slightly short. The legs are well developed and of more than sufficient quality. The hooves are well developed and of good quality.
Lineage:
Fanlac is from the late stallion Arizona's (s.Utrillo van de Heffinck) first year at stud. Fanlac's dam Legina (s.Libero H) boasts the ster and sport (jump) predicates. She is a full-sister to Origina, the dam of the KWPN stallion Undercover (s.Iroko). Fanlac's granddam, the elite mare Gina, is by the keur stallion Wellington. The dam-line continues with Angelique, a daughter of the English Thoroughbred Abgar xx out of the ster mare Norian (s.Jashin). Next in the dam-line is the keur mare Ici le Soleil, a Duc de Normandie daughter out of the ster kern mare Nubalda (s.Amburg). Another product of this direct dam-line is Winchester HS, the Numero Uno son who is achieving great success under Frank Schuttert.

Fanlac is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good temperament. He is very willing to work, has very good trainability, and a good mouth. The walk has more than sufficient scope. The trot has sufficient to more than sufficient scope. The canter is powerful, carried, and has good scope. The stallion moves with good carriage and balance. Fanlac jumps with good reflexes. He also jumps with inconsistent front leg form but completes his jump well with his hind end. Fanlac appears careful and demonstrates abundant to very abundant scope. He shows abundant to very abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable Behavior:
Fanlac is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.
