Crespo VDL is a well-developed stallion with good jumper conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has more than sufficient length with good shape and muscling. The shoulder has good length and placement. The wither is well developed and has good length. The back has sufficient length and good muscling. The loins are well connected with good muscling. The croup is sloped and has more than sufficient length and good muscling. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is long. The legs are well developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are well shaped.
Lineage
Crespo VDL's sire Canturo (s.Cantus) was a very successful international show jumper under Bernardo Alves Resende. Canturo is also a successful breeding stallion. Crespo VDL's dam Renaissance is a Candillo (s.Cassini I) daughter. Lou Lou, Crespo VDL's granddam, is by Quidam de Revel out of Vanessa III, a Landgraf I daughter. Vanessa III is also the dam of the stallions Calato and Calandro. Her full sister Clarissa produced the KWPN stallion Verdi. The KWPN stallions Vingino and Biscayo are out of Lou Lou's direct dam-line. Other products of this widely-branched dam-line include the KWPN stallions Wizzerd WV, Highline, Great Pleasure, Azteca VDL, Montreal VDL, and Velazquez.
Inspection Report
Crespo VDL is an honest and reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and has good trainability as well as a good mouth. The walk is pure and has sufficient activity, scope, and elasticity. The trot is active with more than sufficient scope and elasticity. The canter is powerful and has good scope. The stallion moves with good body position and balance and more than sufficient elasticity. Crespo VDL jumps with more than sufficient reflexes. His front leg form is slightly inconsistent, and he should complete his jump better with his hind end. The stallion appears careful and shows abundant scope. Crespo VDL demonstrates more than sufficient to abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Crespo VDL is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

The hind leg is slightly angled. The pastern angle is normal. The hooves are well developed with sufficient heels. The legs are slightly delicate but tight. The walk is correct, pure, and powerful. The trot and canter were not evaluated as the horse was lame.
