Elvaro's granddam Utanja is a ster prestatie mare by Manhattan. Her other offspring include 1.35m jumpers by Cardento and Heartbreaker. Elvaro's great-granddam Montanja is an elite preferent mare by Epilot and a former Z1-level dressage horse. Montanja also produced a 1.35m jumper by Clinton. The dam-line continues with Etanja, a ster preferent prestatie mare (s.Le Mexico), who is also the dam of the KWPN stallion Londontimes. Next in the dam-line is Tanja, a prestatie mare by the English Thoroughbred Cadmus xx, followed by the Drost mare Hurinka.
