Elvaro is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has good length with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither is more than sufficiently developed and has more than sufficient length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back is slightly dropped but has good length and more than sufficient muscling. The loin is well connected with good muscling. The croup has more than sufficient placement and length with good muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns have sufficient length but are slightly straight. The legs are more than sufficiently developed and of good quality. The hooves are of good shape and quality.

Elvaro, age 5, was entered in the performance test voluntarily. This Calvaro son is out of the ster sport(jump) mare April Love, a Heartbreaker daughter. Elvaro's granddam Utanja is a ster prestatie mare by Manhattan. Her other offspring include 1.35m jumpers by Cardento and Heartbreaker. Elvaro's great-granddam Montanja is an elite preferent mare by Epilot and a former Z1-level dressage horse. Montanja also produced a 1.35m jumper by Clinton. The dam-line continues with Etanja, a ster preferent prestatie mare (s.Le Mexico), who is also the dam of the KWPN stallion Londontimes. Next in the dam-line is Tanja, a prestatie mare by the English Thoroughbred Cadmus xx, followed by the Drost mare Hurinka.
