ontwikkeld beenwerk. Hij lijkt het beste te passen bij merries met een
voldoende krachtig achterbeen.
Bijzonderheden:
De
collectie bestond uit 10 door het KWPN aangewezen veulens. De kwaliteit van de
moeders was gemiddeld en variërend wat betreft fokrichting. Edmundo is als
zesjarige hengst goedgekeurd.

Conformation:
Edmundo has more than sufficient Gelder type and more than sufficient
rectangular-shaped conformation. He is well developed. The head is sufficiently
attractive. The poll has sufficient length with a heavy throatlatch. The neck
has vertical placement with more than sufficient length and muscling. The neck
comes out deep from the chest. The wither is well developed and sufficiently
long. The shoulder has good length but is straight. The back has good placement
and muscling. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup is
sufficiently sloped and has sufficient length. The line from the point of the
hip to the point of the buttock is sufficiently long but needs more muscling.
The front leg is correct but slightly camped under. The hind leg is correct.
The pasterns have good length and are weak. The hooves are broad, and the heels
are sufficiently developed. The legs are clean with appropriate circumference.
Lineage:
Edmundo's sire is Upperville. This Cabochon son recently competed in the World
Cup Final in dressage at Las Vegas under Russia's Tatiana Dorofeeva. Last year,
Upperville represented Russia at the World Equestrian Games in Caen, France.
Edmundo’s dam Satricia received the ster predicate in the harness
horse breeding direction and has produced four foals, one of which subsequently
also received the ster predicate. Satricia's sire is the
Saddlebred-cross Modern. Through Edmundo's granddam Jatricia keur, this
pedigree includes the classic blood of Exponent. Edmundo's great-granddam
Vatricia keur pref, a former show harness horse, is also the
great-granddam of the 1.45m jumper Pastel Hof ten Galeyk (s. Azur de Paulstra),
the M1-level dressage horse Kroonwals (s. Droomwals), and the Z1-level dressage
horse Sinda (s.Luciano). Furthermore, Vatricia produced the show harness horse
Galant (s. Pygmalion). The dam-line continues with blood from Gloriant,
Geoloog, and Oregon.

Edmundo is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He is very
willing to work and has good trainability.
Dressage
The walk is pure and active with more than sufficient scope. The trot has more
than sufficient scope and sufficient body position, but needs more power. The
canter has sufficient scope and good balance. The stallion moves with
sufficient elasticity. As a Gelder horse, Edmundo demonstrates more than
sufficient talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient to
good feeling.
Jumping
Edmundo jumps with more than sufficient reflexes and form, and completes his
jump sufficiently behind. The stallion appears more than sufficiently careful
and shows sufficient scope with more than sufficient willingness. As a Gelder
horse, Edmundo demonstrates more than sufficient talent for jumping and gives

position. The overall picture as a driving horse is good to very good.
