Campbell VDL is a well-developed, riding-type stallion with good
rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The neck
has good length and muscling, with slightly horizontal placement. The shoulder
has sufficient length but is straight. The wither is well developed but could
be longer. The back has good length and muscling. The loins are sufficiently
muscled and well connected. The croup is short, sloped, and has good muscling.
The front leg has good length and is correct. The hind leg is correct. The legs
are well developed and of more than sufficient quality.
Lineage
Campbell VDL is by Cassini I, who has sired numerous international show
jumpers, including the KWPN-approved stallion Berlin. Campbell VDL's dam
Nele IX is by Carpaccio, who is known for producing versatile offspring.
Campbell VDL's granddam Ebony is by the Landgraf I son Landlord. The dam-line
also includes a Wahnfried daughter. Furthermore, this immediate dam-line has
produced a number of show jumpers and several approved stallions.

temperament is more than sufficient. His willingness to work and trainability
are more than sufficient. The walk is pure and has more than sufficient scope.
The trot has more than sufficient scope and carriage. The canter has more than
sufficient scope and power. The stallion has more than sufficient to good body
position and power. Campbell VDL jumps with more than sufficient to good
reflexes and has more than sufficient form. The front leg form is moderate. The
stallion has abundant scope but lacks elasticity. Campbell VDL appears careful.
He has more than sufficient to abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider
a more than sufficient to good feeling.
