Performance test report

A bay stallion measuring 1.71m / 16.3+ hands, Casino was born in Holstein in 1998. His sire Cash is by Cor de la Bryere, out of Landgrafin. Both Cash and Landgrafin competed in international show jumping under Hugo Simon. Landgrafin is a full sister to the Holsteiner jumper sire Landgraf I.
Casino's dam is In to Date, a Lord (s.Ladykiller xx) daughter. She is also a half-sister to the approved stallion Landioso (s.Landgraf I) and a full-sister to the Oldenburg-approved Sieger stallion Le Coeur. Casino's granddam Up to Date is by Calvados II (s.Cor de la Bryere), and farther back in the dam-line are daughters of Farnese and Fax I.
Casino's success started early in life. At the World Championships in Lanaken, the stallion finished fifth as a six-year-old and sixth as a seven-year-old. In several Puissance- and Six-Bars competitions, Casino demonstrated his spectacular scope. In Ascona, he won the Grand Prix, as well as other classes. And at the 2006 European Championships in Mannheim, Casino and his regular rider, Morten Djupvik of Norway, surprised all: after four challenging rounds, the combination was still clear and positioned for a medal. Unfortunately, they acquired faults in the last round to end in tenth place in the standings. Casino was only nine years old at the time. Because of his exemplary achievements, the Norwegian equestrian federation selected him to compete in the Hong Kong Olympics. The result was a bronze medal for the Norwegian team. In the individual final, the combination accumulated four jumping faults to end in the top ten.
Casino is a class C stallion with respect to radiograph results, which show osteochondrosis of the left knee. Results of the remaining radiographs meet KWPN requirements.
