The trot is powerful and has more than sufficient stride length, and the hind leg bends well. The foals pick up the canter easily. The canter has more than sufficient stride length and balance but should be more elastic. The foals should show more knee action.

Charmingmood is a more than sufficiently developed stallion with more than sufficient dressage horse conformation. The body direction is slightly downhill. The head is attractive. The poll has good length. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and placement. The wither is more than sufficiently developed and has good length. The back has good length and muscling but is slightly dropped. The loins are well connected with good muscling. The croup is sloped and has more than sufficient length with good muscling. The left front leg is toed-in. The hind leg is correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well shaped.
Lineage
Charmingmood is a product of Winningmood's first year at stud. Currently, Winningmood is showing at the ZZ-light level with Diederik van Silfhout. Charmingmood's dam Nedorette W is a keur sport (dres) mare by the preferent stallion Contango. Nedorette W performed a good mare test and was registered in the studbook with high scores. She is classified at Z2-level dressage. Her dam Goedele is a ster preferent mare by the English Thoroughbred Belfalas xx. Goedele's full brother Jamzes is ZZ-light dressage horse, and Goedele's half-brother Accoord (s.Accord II) is a big tour dressage horse. The dam-line continues with the keur preferent mare Conamore (s.B.Raimond), the keur preferent prestatie mare Univer II (s.Nimmerdor), the keur preferent mare Hella (s.Amor), and the preferent kern mare Univer (s.Kavalier).
Inspection Report
Charmingmood is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He is more than sufficiently willing to work and has more than sufficient trainability. The walk is pure with sufficient scope but needs more shoulder freedom. The trot has more than sufficient scope and power. The stallion's left front leg toes-in and paddles to the outside. The canter has more than sufficient scope. The stallion needs to carry more in the canter. Charmingmood has more than sufficient self-carriage. He has more than sufficient to abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling.
Stable Behavior
Charmingmood is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.
Veterinary Report
On May 10, 2010, swelling was observed on the left hind leg due to an injury/bruising to the back of the flexor tendons. Symptoms were successfully treated with exercise, hydrotherapy, and medication.
Semen Inspection
Expected fertility class: sufficient.
Breeding Recommendation
Charmingmood can improve front- and hind leg use in dressage horse breeding. He is best paired with uphill mares.
Dam Report
Nedorette W is a more than sufficiently developed mare with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The legs are slightly short. The head is attractive. The poll should be slightly longer but has good shape. The neck has more than sufficient placement and length but needs more muscling. The wither is well developed and long. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back is weak. The loins have good breadth and are well connected. The croup is slightly short but has good placement. The front leg is slightly back at the knee. The hind leg is correct. Due to a fungal infection, the left hind leg was held cocked during the inspection. The pasterns are slightly weak. The hooves are broad and well developed. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The walk has good scope with sufficient push. The trot has good scope and more than sufficient push. The mare's body stays slightly too horizontal in the trot but she moves very light-footed. The canter is active and has more than sufficient scope.
