The 14-year-old KWPN-bred Chaplin (studbook name
Cerberus W, bred by G. Knoop from Slootdorp) is active at the highest level
with Martin Fuchs. The pair won the Grands Prix of Madrid and Estoril in 2019
and in 2017 they were victorious in the GP of Mexico City and Zürich. He alo
participated in the Swiss team that won the Nations Cup of Samorin and placed
second in the 1.60m class of Hamburg, followed by a third place in the Longines
Global Championships Tour GP. Chaplin’s dam Jalitha B elite prest sport-spr
jumped 1.35m herself and produced more showjumpers, among them the 1.40m-horse
Ernie (by Carambole), the international 1.30m-horse Geraltha W (by Ultimo) and
a 1.35m Burggraaf-offspring. Granddam Caltha B ster prest (by Nimmerdor) is
also the dam to the international showjumper Twilight Zeldenrust (by Corland)
of Patrick van der Schans and additionally produced five 1.30/1.35m-horses. She
is also the granddam of the Grand Prix-horse Picolien Zeldenrust and the
international showjumpers Personality-Zeldenrust, Ferrarie-Zeldenrust and
Adoctro-Zeldenrust, all offspring of Indoctro. Chaplin’s sire Verdi no longer
needs an introduction. For a decade, he was active at the highest level with

Calling his career successful is an understatement:
two times he competed at the Olympic Games, resulting in a silver team medal in
London, the golden team medal at the World Equestrian Games of Caen and the
European Championships in Aachen as well as numerous top placements in various
Nations Cups and other championships.

the KWPN radiographic requirements. The genome breeding value and conformation
inspection yielded no remarks. The
genome breeding value is 100 (43% reliability) and he is no carrier of WFFS.
His stud services are available via Team Nijhof in Geesteren.
