A uniform collection of riding type foals with very good breeding and more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The hindquarters are often poorly muscled, and the croup is sloping. The trot is powerful and big with good leg technique. The canter is light-footed; its stride length and balance and more than sufficient. The foals move using their bodies a great deal.
Breeding/Pairing recommendation
Canturano passes on his qualities and is best paired with large mares that have a good topline. The stallion can contribute jumping quality, particularly scope and body use.
