Conformation
Bristol is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has more than sufficient length. The head-neck connection is slightly heavy. The neck has good length, but the topline needs more muscling. The shoulder has good length and sufficient placement. The wither is well developed. The back has good length but is slightly dropped. The loins are more than sufficiently muscled and connected. The croup is lightly sloped, with good length and muscling. The front leg has good length and is correct. The hind leg is long and sickle-hocked. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well developed.
Lineage
Bristol is by the preferent stallion Jazz, whose stamp on breeding and sport is unparalleled. Thanks to his numerous successful international offspring, he tops this year's WBFSH ranking for dressage horses. Bristol's dam Selina (s.Goodtimes), who carries the elite predicate, excelled in her mare test. In addition, she won the Central Inspection championship and finished in the top group at the National Mare Inspection. Her dam Carrola (s.Nurprimus) is a ster preferent mare whose offspring include Z-level horses by Goodtimes and Vincent. Bristol's great-granddam Simona, a daughter of J. Amagun, boasts the ster, preferent, and prestatie predicates. She produced several successful dressage horses and show jumpers, among them the grand prix horse Karolus K.
Inspection Report
Bristol is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk is pure and has good scope. The trot has good scope and correct use of the front leg. In the lengthenings, the stallion easily moves wide. The canter is uphill with good scope and carriage. Bristol moves with good body position, balance, and elasticity. He has abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Bristol is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Dam Report
Selina is a very well-developed mare with good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is attractive, with a large eye. The poll has sufficient length. The neck could be longer; it comes out slightly deep from the chest. The neck position is horizontal, whether the mare is standing or moving. The wither is well developed and long. The shoulder is long and sloped. The back is correct. The loins are strong and well muscled. The mare has a good body. The croup is very sloped and should be slightly longer. The gaskin is well muscled. The front leg is slightly camped under and slightly back at the knee. The hind leg is long and slightly sickled-hocked. The hind pasterns are slightly weak. The hooves are similar with normal development; the heels are a bit low. The legs are clean. The basic gaits are pure, with good use of the hind leg. The mare could show more shoulder freedom in all three gaits and move with more elevation.

In 2002, Selina completed the five-week mare test with the following results: walk 8 / trot 8.5 / canter 8 / suitability for dressage 8 (x2) / jumping: push 6.5 / form 7 / scope 6.5 / jumping talent 6.5 (x2). Total: 73.5 points.
