Offspring report
A collection of more than sufficient to well-developed, long-legged foals with good dressage horse conformation. The trot is correct and has sufficient power. The foals pick up the canter easily and show good stride length. The foals generally move uphill and collect well but should use their bodies more.
Breeding Recommendation
The breeding recommendation is based on the performance test and the offspring inspection. Bordeaux can improve conformation, movement, and willingness in dressage mares that have an active hind leg.

Lineage
Bordeaux was the champion of the stallion selection in 's-Hertogenbosch. His sire United, who excelled in the performance test, currently competes in the small tour as an eight-year-old. United (Krack C x TCN Partout) is leaving his stamp as a breeding stallion, as evidenced by his daughters who excel in the inspections and ability tests. Bordeaux's dam is Venna, a ster mare by the keur stallion Gribaldi. Her dam Leandra M is a keur preferent sport (dres) mare by the dressage horse sire Donnerhall. Bordeaux's great-granddam Roussina is by Rousseau (Romadour II x Lugano II), out of Adone (Angelo xx out of Dodona s.Donar). Bred to Krack C, Roussina also produced the Oldenburg-approved stallion Kaiser Franz. Furthermore, Roussina is a half-sister to Nicole Uphoff's legendary dressage horse Rembrandt (s.Romadour II) and the stallions Royal Angelo I and II (s.Rosenkavalier). Adone is a full sister to the renowned dressage horses Ahlerich, under the late Dr. Reiner Klimke; and Amon, under Annemarie Sanders-Keizer.
Inspection Report
Bordeaux is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good temperament. He is very willing to work and has good to very good trainability. The walk is pure with good scope but sometimes slightly wide behind. The trot has good scope. The canter is powerful and uphill with good scope and carriage. Bordeaux moves with good elasticity and good to very good carriage and balance. He has abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Bordeaux is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.
Veterinary Report
Bordeaux's right hock does not meet KWPN radiographic requirements. As a result, he was deemed class C for osteochondrosis. The stallion selection committee opted to exercise its right to approve a stallion with class C osteochondrosis. During the performance test, the stallion was treated for pastern dermatitis and a mild cold.
Semen Inspection
Expected fertility class: sufficient.
