Amazing Star has several preferent stallions on both sides of his pedigree. His sire Flemmingh and his grandsire Ferro earned the prestigious predicate and have produced numerous approved sons and grandsons. Ferro was a successful international dressage competitor under Coby van Baalen; the combination's achievements include placing fifth individually in the Sydney Olympics. Amazing Star’s granddam is the keur preferent sport(dres) mare Mimosavrouwe (s.Donnerhall), whose offspring include Z-level dressage horses by Krack C and Ferro. Amazing Star's great-granddam Weidevrouwe (s.Roemer), who earned the keur, preferent, and prestatie predicates, is the dam of Z-level dressage horses by Ulft, Rex Magna xx, Jazz, and Krack C.
