A uniform collection of more than sufficient to well-developed, longlegged foals with more than sufficient dressage horse conformation. The trot has more than sufficient stride length and suppleness, with a hind leg that bends actively but should step under the body more. The canter has sufficient stride length but should show more body use.

Breeding Recommendation

The breeding recommendation is based on the performance test and the offspring inspection. Aqiedo can improve correct leg movement in the trot. He is best paired with mares that show Thoroughbred blood and correct hind leg conformation.

Conformation
Aqiedo is a well-developed stallion with sufficient riding horse type and conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll is sufficiently long. The neck has more than sufficient length and sufficient muscling. The shoulder has good length and placement. The wither is well developed and has good length. The back has sufficient length but little muscling. The loins are well connected but slightly tight. The croup has good placement, more than sufficient length, and good muscling. The line from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock should be longer. The front leg has good length. The hind leg is slightly long. The legs show more than sufficient development and quality. The hooves are well developed but have low heels.
Lineage
Aqiedo's sire is Undigo, a son of the influential stallion Sandro Hit. Undigo's dam is the keur preferent mare Norell, a daughter of the preferent stallion Jazz. Aqiedo's dam is Ranirma, a keur mare by Métall (s.Ferro), out of the keur preferent sport(dres) mare Janirma (s.Darwin). Janirma is also the dam of the KWPN stallion Paddox (s.Ferro), who competed in the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2002 and 2003, and subsequently showed successfully in the small tour under Marijke Folmer. The dam-line continues with the ster preferent prestatie mare Danirma, a daughter of the Abgar xx son Volckmar; and daughters by President and the English Thoroughbred Vesins xx.
Inspection Report
Aqiedo is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk has scope but should move more through the body. The trot is correct and has good scope. The canter is uphill with good scope and power. Aqiedo moves with more than sufficient to good body position and good balance. He has abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Aqiedo is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall. Aqiedo is a cribber. He underwent surgery for this stable vice, and as a result, has a very light throatlatch.

Dam Report
Ranirma is a well-developed mare with more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. Her conformation is somewhat classical. The head has normal shape and is more than sufficiently attractive. The head-neck connection is more than sufficiently light. The neck has good length, with more than sufficient muscling in the topline. The neck should be more vertical in its placement. The wither is well developed with more than sufficient length. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and sufficient slope. The back is somewhat dropped. The loins are more than sufficiently connected. The croup has more than sufficient length and sufficient slope. The front leg has good length, but when viewed from the side, is slightly back at the knee and under the mass. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns have more than sufficient length but are somewhat straight. The hooves are more than sufficiently broad, and the heels are more than sufficiently developed. The left front hoof is slightly smaller than the right front hoof. In addition, the heel of the left front hoof is more developed than that of the right front hoof. The legs are of more than sufficient quality, with appropriate circumference. Ranirma has a pure and active walk with more than sufficient scope and elasticity.
