Offspring report

A uniform collection of moderately to sufficiently developed harness type foals. Front leg action in the trot is good to very good. The hind legs are used actively with abundant bend but should step farther under the body in several cases. The foals carry their necks very well in the trot, and they trot with abundant forehand elevation.
Breeding recommendation
Atleet is best paired with big and well muscled mares. He passes on nobility, durability, and big, active gaits.

Performance test report

Conformation
Atleet is a high-quality stallion, but he should be more developed. Standing, the stallion should have a bigger front end. He has a good wither/shoulder and a very good topline. The front leg has good length and is correct. The hind leg is correct. The hooves are well developed.

Lineage
Atleet's sire is the Kolonel son Patijn, who definitively proved himself a sire of show horses in 2008. He leads the 2007/2008 breeding values list, and his offspring are following close in his footsteps. Patijn is a four-time winner of the Oregon Trophy and a three-time champion breeding stallion. The valuable blood of the preferent stallion Waterman graces this pedigree through Atleet's dam, the ster mare Sintia (s.Waterman). Atleet's granddam Kerna B (s.Farao) produced the show horse Pavarotti (s.Handro), who earned 79 points. Atleet's great-granddam Geekerna keur preferent (s.Renovo) performed an excellent IBOP test, scoring 98 points. Her earnings in harness total approximately €500. This line is the Van der Maat family's Kerna-line, which also produced the stallions Neogeen (s.Hidalgo) and Zakerno (s.Proloog).
Inspection Report

Atleet is an honest and reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and is very good to drive. The walk is good. In front of the show carriage, the stallion "climbs" with his front end and carries his neck very well. Atleet has very abundant knee action and sufficient to more than sufficient reach and scope of the front leg. The hind leg bends and steps under the body very well. The trot has abundant suspension. Atleet is extremely willing to work. He has very abundant talent as a harness horse and gives his driver a very good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Atleet is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.
Veterinary Report
Injury to the flexor tendons, modified training program.
Semen Inspection
Expected fertility class: sufficient.
Breeding Recommendation
Atleet is particularly suited for well-developed and more than sufficiently long-lined harness horse mares. The stallion can improve desire to work, action, and athletic talent.
