The croup is sloped and has more than sufficient length with good muscling. The front legs are sufficiently long but toed-in. The hind leg is correct. Ampere's sire Rousseau finished high in the final standings of the 2002 Pavo Cup competition and then captured the silver medal at the 2003 FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. Ampere is Rousseau's third consecutive son to win the stallion selection championship in 's-Hertogenbosch. Ampere's dam Larivola is a keur daughter of the preferent sire Flemmingh.
