Performance report

Offspring report

Aquarel foals, in general, should demonstrate better harness horse type. They also appear short-coupled. The collection lacks harness-type qualities in the trot and shows poor front leg action and stride length. On average, the foals exhibit little power behind in the trot and do not bring the hind leg sufficiently under the body. Finally, the foals should use their bodies more.

Performance test report

Conformation 2008 (2 Apr. - 21 May)
Aquarel is a high-quality stallion with abundant nobility; however, he needs more length in the body. The head is regal. The neck has good shape and placement. The wither/shoulder is well developed. The mid-section is slightly dropped. The croup has good length but is sloped. The front leg has good length and is correct. The hind leg is slightly angled. The hooves should be better developed.

Lineage
Aquarel was deemed the champion two-year-old stallion at the National Harness Horse Day event. He is the first approved son of Unieko (s.Manno) and a product of Unieko's first year at stud. Aquarel's dam is the ster mare Petra, a daughter of the very classically-bred stallion Koblenz (s.Fortissimo), who passed away prematurely. The dam-line continues with the preferent stallions Waterman and Cambridge Cole. Bred to Cinovo, Petra also produced the show horse Victorie, who won the Category 3 Middle competition in 2006 and earned 37 points. Aquarel's great-granddam Difria produced the show horse Iwan ster (s.Zakerno), who has 44 points.
