Artifl ex foals demonstrate suffi cient harness horse type and good rectangularshaped conformation but, in general, appear classic and ordinary. The stallion
selection committee expected the stallion, who was the three-year-old champion in Den Bosch, to have a positive effect on nobility. However, his foals fall
short in their way of moving. The action and stride length of the front leg is almost always poor. Furthermore, most of the foals demonstrate little hind leg
power in the trot and do not bring the hind leg suffi ciently under the body. The foals are generally not convincing with respect to body carriage.
