Royally developed stallion with good jumping horse conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The neck has good length and is set deep in the chest. The shoulder has sufficient length but is a little steep. The withers are good in length and development. The back has good length and muscling. The loins are well-connected and well-muscled. The croup has good placement and muscling, and has sufficient length. The front leg has sufficient length, but is calf-kneed and in at the knees. The hind leg is correct, but slightly long. The pasterns have good length but are steep. The legs are well-developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are good in form and development.
Lineage
The sire of Quality Time is Quantum. This is a son of jumping progenitor Quidam de Revel out of Ulla V, a daughter of Cor de la Bryere. The granddam of Quantum is Ella, a daughter of Colt (s.Cromwell) out of the famous mare Dorette, also mother to Farn. The dam of Quality Time is Cortonne, a daughter of the influential jumping progenitor Cantus (Caletto I x Roman) our of Thesee H, a daughter of the Marlon xx-son Mowgli. Great- granddam is Jessika II, a daughter of Molkte I. She is also mother to KWPN- approved stallion Goodwill. The KWPN- stallions Kommandeur and Larno were also bred from this dam-line.
Inspection Report
Quality Time took part in the KWPN stallion test as a three-year-old, but this inspection was terminated prematurely. Quality Time is an honest and reliable, somewhat sensitive stallion. The stallion shows a lot of willingness to work and is very trainable. The walk is not very sound, and poor in scope and elasticity. The trot is sufficient in scope and carriage. The canter is light-footed, powerful and shows a lot of carriage. The stallion has good balance and naturally moves with a vertical neck, but is very workable. Quality Time jumps with a lot of power, very good reflexes and more than sufficient to good technique. The stallion can be ridden back in tempo very well. Quality Time is very cautious and shows a lot of power. Quality Time has a lot of oversight and a lot of talent as a jumping horse, and he gives his rider a good to very good feeling.
Stable Behavior
Quality Time is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.
