The trot demonstrates more than sufficient push, but the hind legs should step farther under the body. The foals transition easily to the canter, demonstrate good balance and more than sufficient stride length and suppleness.

Zavall-VDL is an honest, reliable and playful stallion with a good character. The stallion shows a lot of willingness to work and is well-trainable. The walk is sound, with more than sufficient scope. The trot has good scope and carriage, with good use of the hind leg. The canter has good scope, carriage and power. In motion, the stallion moves with very good balance. The stallion jumps with good reflexes, technique, more than sufficient use of his back, but finishes the jump mediocre with his hindquarters. Zavall-VDL appears cautious and shows more than sufficient to a lot of power. Zavall-VDL has more than sufficient to a lot of talent as a jumping horse and gives his rider good feeling.
