The
Gelder stallion WV Saron showed a collection of sufficiently developed foals
with sufficient Gelder horse type but which should have more presence. The head
is sufficiently attractive but sometimes long. The poll is sufficiently long.
The neck has sufficient length and muscling. The neck comes out deep from the
chest and has a horizontal orientation. The wither has sufficient length and
development. The shoulder is straight. The back has more than sufficient length
and muscling. The loins are more than sufficiently muscled and sufficiently
connected. Croup conformation varies but is generally short with sufficient
muscling. There is more than sufficient length from the point of the hip to the
point of the buttock. The front leg is sufficiently long but is repeatedly back
at the knee and toed-out. The hind leg is long and often straight. The legs are
well developed and of sufficient quality.
The walk has limited
scope. The trot is just sufficient in scope. In the trot, the foals repeatedly
show a flat front leg, and the hind leg should step under the body more
resolutely. The canter has sufficient scope. The foals pick up the canter
easily and show sufficient balance in the gait, but with flat front leg use.
The foals should use their bodies more in movement.

mares which move with sufficient scope and body use.

Lineage
W V Saron is a son of Creool, a former international show jumper. Creool's sire Akteur is by Amor, who has been very influential in Gelder horse breeding. Creool's dam, the keur preferent mare Twiggy, is a daughter of the legendary jumper sire Lucky Boy xx. W V Saron’s dam Nazarona is a ster mare by Zichem, who also boasts Amor blood by way of Gondelier. W V Saron's granddam, the keur prestatie mare Zarona (s.Irak), was the 2005 Gelder Horse of the Year. She earned this prestigious title for excellence as a broodmare. Barona's offspring include three Grand Prix jumpers and one ZZ-level jumper. Her sons by the stallion Akteur, Shurlands Governor and his full brother Tepic la Silla became Grand Prix show jumpers. Hilton, Barona's son by Notaris, also achieved the Grand Prix. Furthermore, Barona's son Promise (s.Witmar Alazan) competed in the ZZ-class in the Netherlands, before the jumper was sold to a buyer from Portugal. Zarona’s sire Irak is by the L’Invasion son Wachtmeester. The young stallion W V Saron is already following in the footsteps of his talented relatives. He is a ZZ-class show jumper and has competed in international two-star shows. Recently, W V Saron made a successful debut in Z1-level dressage.
