Performance test report

The roots of this bay Contender son trace back to Holstein. Born in 1995, Canabis Z was bred by Olaf Medtro of Hasselünne.
Canabis Z is out of the Silvester mare Eileen III. Her dam Albana is a Cor de la Bryère daughter out of a mare by L’Amour (s.Ladykiller xx), who was licensed by the KWPN under the name Nocturn.
Canabis Z measures 1.71m / 16.3+ hands.
From 2003 - 2009, Canabis Z competed in international show jumping, primarily under Spain's Manuel Fernandez Saro. The combination was successful at the 4* and 5* CSI’s of Gijon, Luik, Wiesbaden, Hamburg, and Madrid. Prior to his international show career, Canabis Z was used for breeding on a limited basis. From 2000 - 2004, a total of 168 Canabis Z offspring were registered. Among this small group is a relatively high percentage of successful international horses. Currently, Canabis Z boasts 13 offspring which are registered as grand prix or international competitors, the most famous of which are Cabreado Z (ds.Gold Sky) under Daniel Deusser; Cadjanine Z (ds.Feinschnitt I van de Richter) under Patrick Spits (who subsequently turned over the reins to Gregory Wathelet, whose goal for the talented jumper is the London Olympics); Caesar (ds.Eros Platiere) under André Thieme; and Carolus Z (ds.Toulon), who first experienced success under Hervé Godignon and then won last year's GP in Strazeele under Hungary's Henri Aleksi Kovacs.
Canabis Z meets KWPN radiographic and respiratory requirements.
