Silverstone showed a uniform collection of more than sufficient to well developed foals that stand in sufficient to good rectangular model and that are more than sufficient riding type. They have sufficient refinement.
Sometimes the head is a little long and sufficiently expressive. The poll has sufficient length. The neck has sufficient to more than sufficient length. When stood up there is a ewe neck. The wither is well developed and long. The shoulder has more than sufficient length and sufficient position. The back has good shape, length and muscling. The loins are well formed and well connected. The croup has more than sufficient to good length and more than sufficient shape. The hamstring should be longer. The stance of the foreleg is correct. Sometimes the hindleg is sickle hocked and a few foals should have a smoother transition from the canon. The base has good quality.
The walk is pure, sufficient in scope and shows barely sufficient suppleness. The trot has sufficient scope, impulsion and suppleness. The hindleg is brought underneath more than sufficiently to well and the foals have sufficient self carriage. The canter has sufficient scope and sufficient impulsion. The foals show more than sufficient balance. The foreleg remains flat in both the trot and the canter.
There were 19 picked foals and 4 that were selected by the owner. One foal that was inspected at home deviated negatively from the above. In regards to evaluating movement it must be said that the footing was slick. The selected foals had more suppleness during movement.
The quality of the mares was good.
