Pedigree information
With the stallions Harald, Unitas and Iregon following each other in this pedigree we are dealing with a very classically bred mare line.
Sander"s dam, the star mare Lilonka (s Harald) produced 4 colts (including 1 2nd round). She was the Zuid-Holland central keuring champion as a 3-year old. We know the keur preferent grandmother Bilonka (IBOP 87 points, s Unitas) as the dam of the approved stallion Goya (s Wilhelmus). Great grandmother Silonka (s Iregon) is the grandmother of the competition and keur mare Jalonka (winnings of about EUR 866, s Waterman) and of the competition harness horse Hilco (winnings of about EUR 147, s Zakerno).
Performance
Sander is an honest, reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and is good to drive.
The walk has sufficient scope but is moderate in power. In front of the show cart the stallion has much self carriage. He uses the neck well and comes back well in the front. Sander has more than sufficient to much action in the foreleg and it is extended well. The use of the hindleg is more than sufficient. The stallion brings the hindleg sufficiently underneath and has more than sufficient bend and impulsion, but the hindleg remains a little slow. The stallion has much suspension. Sander has much enthusiasm.
Sander has much talent for harness work and gives his driver a good feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.
No veterinary remarks.
