Offspring 2003 (foals)
Radisson showed a collection of foals that vary in development, that are sufficient to more than sufficient riding type and that stand in sufficient rectangular model.
The head is more than sufficient in shape and has more than sufficient expression. The poll has good length. The neck has good length and shape. The wither has more than sufficient length and is well developed. The shoulder has good length and position. The back is generally weak. The loins should be better connected. The croup has good shape and sufficient length. The hamstring should be longer. The foreleg has a correct stance, weak pasterns and low heels. The hindleg is long and sickle hocked. The base varies in circumference and has sufficient quality.
The walk is pure, has sufficient scope and more than sufficient suppleness. The trot has sufficient scope and more than sufficient use of the foreleg. The foals should bring the hindleg under the body more. The canter has sufficient scope but should have more balance.
There were 10 picked foals and 5 that were selected by the owner. Of the two foals that were inspected at home, one could not really be evaluated because it was sick and the other differed positively from the above picture and was missing one eye. The canter was generally better in the foals that were selected by the owner.
The quality of the mares was moderate.
