Offspring 2002 (foals)
Roy-M showed a uniform collection of sufficient to more than sufficiently developed, tuig type foals that stand in good rectangular model.
The head is expressive. The poll has good shape but in certain cases should have more length. The neck has good length and shape and it is carried well. The wither has good length. In a number of cases the wither should be more developed. The shoulder is sufficiently good in length and position. The back is shaped well. The loins are well shaped and well muscled. The croup is generally straight and should be longer. The hamstring is more than sufficient in length. The foreleg has good length but in a few cases is somewhat delicate. Several of the foals were toed out. The hindleg is sometimes sickle hocked.
The base is sufficiently developed and shows quality. The shape of the hooves is normal.
The walk has sufficient scope but is somewhat lacking in power and flexibility from the hindleg. The trot has much scope. The use of the foreleg varies. The foals trot with much suppleness and much balance. The hindleg is generally used well. The foals can do changes well and show much rise in the front and much self carriage.
Remarks: Of the foals shown, 10 were picked and 4 were selected by the owner. One of the foals had some fluid in the hock.
The quality of the mares ranged from sufficient to good.
Shown: 14 foals out 45 mares that were bred in 2001.

Conformation Description 2001 (September 25 through November 14, 2001)
Roy-M is a sufficiently developed, tuig type stallion that stands in good rectangular model. The neck is sufficient in length and more than sufficient in position. The croup has sufficient length but is a little straight. The hindleg is a little long.
Pedigree information
Roy-M is a stallion with not too much size and that finished 5th in the championship keuring. When he moves, however, he grows from the very first step. He climbs remarkably well and shows very good impulsion, bend, action and scope. On paper the mare line is short but it does have much quality. The dam Watinka was awarded the sport predicate, which she clearly deserved with winnings of more than NLG 11.000 in singles driving.
Watinka Keur sport (s Navigator) competed successfully for years and won a total of more than NLG 11.665 in singles driving competition and NLG 2.003 in doubles. In 1984, she won the NHS doubles competition with Alonso (s Rocconi) and received the title of Sport Mare Of The Year.
On paper the dam line is short but it has a lot of quality. Watinka produced 14 foals (6 colts and 8 fillies) of which one is Katinka M (s Fortissimo) with winnings of NLG 690 and Roy-M (s Larix) 2nd at National Harness Horse Day. Grandmother Katinka won NLG 2.200 and produced the well-known competition horse Danser (s Senaat) belonging to Stal Boelens with winnings of more than NLG 15.000, and his full sister the mare Atinka Keur with winnings of almost NLG 2.000.
Performance
Roy-M is an honest, reliable stallion. He is very willing to work and drives well. The walk is active and has good scope. The stallion has much self carriage in front of the cart. He uses the neck well and comes back in the front. Roy-M has much action in the foreleg and has good reach with the foreleg. The use of the hindleg is good. The stallion brings the hindleg under the body well and has much bend and impulsion. The stallion has much suspension. He has much to very much enthusiasm. Roy-M has much to very much talent for harness and gives his driver a good feeling.
Stall and handling behavior are normal.
